Future Litters
Check back for updates!
I will consider breeding Famous in 2027, pending completion of her AKC Championship. The stud dog is to be determined. Famous can only have black/rust puppies due to her color genetics, regardless of the color or genetics of the stud dog we pair her with. Her next heat cycle is due approximately January 2027 so I will update closer to that time if she is going to be bred at that time or not. (Potential Jan breeding, approximate April due date, approximate June puppy pick up. Or postponed if she or we are not ready and able to commit to that timeline at the time that she comes into heat.)
I will consider breeding Shiny again for her second litter some time in 2027. The stud dog is to be determined. Shiny can have black/rust or red/rust puppies, depending on what color genetics the sire has. She was a wonderful mother to 11 amazing puppies in April 2026 so she is taking a well deserved break after motherhood and will work on earning the last component to her ROM Register of Merit title in the meantime. I will update end of 2026 or sometime in 2027 if we make any future breeding plan with her.
Freya’s owner Ashley is considering breeding Freya after she finishes her AKC Championship. Her puppies will be born and raised with Ashley at her home in Utah. I am a mentor and co-breeder of Freya. The stud dog is to be determined. Freya can have black/rust or red/rust puppies, depending on what color genetics the sire has. Her next heat cycle is due approximately December 2026 so I will update closer to that time if she is going to be bred at that time or not. (Dec breeding, approximate March due date, approximate May puppy pick up.)
Any proposed breeding timelines are just an estimation. Sometimes they come in heat earlier or later than anticipated. Health testing on the sire and dam must be complete and current in order to proceed with breeding. We raise our litters in our home with us. Due to the high level of commitment and demands of raising a litter to our standards, we can typically only accommodate 0-2 litters per year. Our girls are not bred repeatedly over and over again beyond what is healthy for them, or advantageous to our program or the breed. They are not bred younger than 2yrs old or older than 6yrs old. They are not bred again if they are not good, dedicated mothers. We breed conscientiously for the advancement of our program and preservation of the breed, and only when it is the right timing and conditions for our girls, and for us to be committed and present to raise puppies and support the new owners.
